It is a necessity to get a proper finish hone, especially on the thin 403 block correct? I am sure my local machine shops won't have a 403 specific let alone an Olds V8 one lying around. I see they can come with inserts or without; what does that mean? Available in aluminum or steel. Looks like $310 to $365 from Rocket Racing, $55 more with inserts. Opinions?
