403 cam and magnum roller tip rockers?

Will I have any issues with the comp cams magnum roller tip rocker kit 1441 with my cam being more than stock at
223/228 duration , .510/.512 lift?
I am reading that the supplied pushrods are NEVER correct. Anyone have these istalled on thier 403 with a bigger than stock cam.

Thanks,
gary

It'll be just fine. Check the valvetrain travel when assembled to see how bad the pushrod length is. The best thing is to get a length checker pushrod then order precisely the right rod.
FWIW, I ran the same kit on a 350 with several different cams and used the pushrods that came in the kit. It ran just fine, although my valve guides are shot now (25k miles). Might be due to pushrod length, might be due to horrible machine work.

First build?
Read up on the Olds-specific pitfalls like the oil passage plug that should have a hole in it to lube the distributor/oil pump gear.
