Thumbs up 350 olds high torque cams

what do you guys recommend for a high torque cam---i had an old melling grind that worked well, but it was an old school lazy profile---what manufacturers have kept up with the times and developed modern cam profiles for the olds engines?

It’s not just the profiles but the right choice of duration, lsa etc.

There was only one cam I found better than mine in 07 at 2500-6300rpm vs 1800-6200(both non roller cams). Companies making anything better these days?

For comparison

I agree. It wasn't much more than mine at between 4-5 times the price of mine.

Single pattern cam in the mid teens@.050 would do well.

Two more with higher duration digging around longer. Not your low rpm range when jumping up high on duration.

Lower your duration and you will probably find some cams to post on here.

Cutlassefi did a 214/214 .472/.472 on a 110 LSA for my 9 to 1 Olds 350. Realize you need something better than the 1700 stall to give a good launch. I did 1/4 block burnouts with a 2300 flash stall with a 2004R. I went back to the TH350 with a stock converter. Coupled with the stock 2.78 gears, launch was far from exciting. I would say peak power was 2000 to 5000 rpm.

after seeing all these responses about radical cams, i realized i forgot to say what car this 350 is in...72 delta 88 convertible---4500+ lbs and a 3.23 gear. thats why i am looking for a low rpm TORQUE cam
