350 how to identifying casting numbers

Rebuilt this 350 rocket engine. It has #6 heads.
Any forms

Top block cast #

Side of block #

sorry new to posting. Thought the pictures upload. Just edit the post. Could you help me ask least identify what year the motor was built? Allso is the #6 heads a good stock heads?

The casting number indicates a 68-76 350 and the stamping indicates it came from a 1970 vehicle.

Yes, that's a 1970 block and the #6 heads are also consistent with a 1970 motor. Stock CR should be 10.25:1 unless it's a 2bbl motor, which would be 9.00:1.

What are your goals for the build? Where are you located? Either the Speedpro 6cc forged pistons or the Mahle Mahle 10cc piston is your best choice. Yes, the #6 heads are good but can be improved with W31 valves and porting. Cutlassefi on here, Mark Remmel has brought the Mahle pistons and many new parts for the Olds V8 to the market. Contact him, good guy to deal with.
