350 Engine coil location

I cant find a picture or anything to reference from, I'm going to be running an electric distributor with external coil so I would like to place the coil where the coil comes factory on the 350. Thanks.

Back RH side of engine mounted with a bracket on top of intake manifold. You need to purchase a Chassis Service Manual (CSM).

It looks like this image (example).

If im not mistaken, I believe 350 and 455 are different. 350 intakes dont have the tab like the 455 intake does.

You asked for the location of the coil on a 350, that’s where you’ll find the coil on a 350.

I’m pretty certain most folks mount the electric distributor external ignition coil on the firewall to eliminate heat from the intake manifold.

I guess I didn't see that while looking over the intake. The 455 one is much more noticeable. Thank you guys.
