330 intake manifold and carburator

Hi!
I read almost all threads but did not find the right answer for my issue!
What intake manifold and carburator fits best on my ´66 330 holiday coupe and has the best performance?

What do I have to change when build in a new manifold and a carburator, or is it plug and play!

Sorry because of my english, I´m not a native speaker.

Thank you very much!

What carburetor is on it right now? Is the motor stock?

Unfortunately, "best performance" is a very subjective term. Are you looking for lowest quarter mile times, best gas mileage, overall street driveability? The selection will be different depending on your answer. Also, what else, if anything have you or do you plan to do to the motor? Dual exhaust? Cam? What about trans and gears.

An engine is a system and all parts need to be matched to the intended purpose for best performance.

I´m looking for street driveability and i´m looking for about 350HP. Yes to dual exhaust and I have the shitty 2 gear transmission (will change to 4 gear automatic transmission).
And the motor will be reworked before (original). Is now a answer possible?? i hope so.

thanks a lot

Yup. I'm assuming this is in a Cutlass. I'd use an Edelbrock Performer RPM (P/N 7111) and a properly set up Quadrajet carb. A 600 CFM E-brock carb would work also, but I think there are some linkage clearance issues that require a spacer.

X2 on this, I don't think there are any linkage issues with the Edelbrock carb though.

He will already have a Qjet, but it will need an overhaul and jet change. A RPM intake as suggested plus the new Street Demon carburetor. This carb is based off the Carter Thermoquad. You can get complete tuning kits and secondary air door adjusts with a screw driver. The Thermoquad needed a special tool. You can get either a polymer or aluminum main body, optional tps for use with trans like the 4L60E. It is 625 cfm and fits square and spread bore manifolds.

Yeah, with a divorced choke that won't work on the RPM intake.

Good point, forgot about the divorced choke. Even more reason to go with the Street Demon.
