330 heads on 77 350

I can get a set of 330 heads for a pretty good price. Other than drill them out, are these going to be alright for a late 350?

Yes. They will probably get you an extra point of compression, too.

I thought they didn't flow as well as the 350 heads.

The late (77-80) 350 heads were the absolute worst 350 head. Terrible flow, prone to cracking, big chamber.

They are supposed to be similar to the early 350 heads, a big improvement over what you have.

You don't need a die grinder, just get a quality valve job and if you can afford it a little bowl work. The compression will allow you ro run a better cam.

You are just as likely to do more harm than good, IMHO.
