307 heads on 350? bump compression up?

I don't even know if it would work! I have put 305 chevy heads on a chevy 350 before and it bumped the compression up. Will this do the same on 307 heads on 350?

As far as I know 307 heads are about the worst SBO heads available. I believe the #6 heads are desireable for the SBO.

Most SBC "tricks" do not apply to Olds motors. You need to understand the characteristics of the particular heads - chamber volume, port size, and valve size. In many cases. Olds used piston dish rather than chamber size to vary compression, and head swapping may not even help. Primarily it's the 60's vintage SBO heads that have the 60-64 cc chambers.
