My sig has a vid of the old motor. I now have a brand spankin new 455 in its place. I have about 200 miles on it right now. When it's broken in I'll post a vid of it. It will be Small block vs big block in the same car. It lights the tires anywhere in second, didn't do that before. No substitute for cubic inches.

Following is a link to 6 different videos of my 350, so take your pick. This engine is now out of the car, and the original numbers matching engine is being rebuilt now. It was just painted yesterday, and after two weeks of curing, it will go on the dyno, so I will post a video of that. Then I will post new videos once it is installed in my car:

Suits me just fine, but I really don't do many videos. :P

I assume it's supposed to spit that much gas and stuff out when revving? Didn't really smell like gas. Condensed water?

Probably just water...when the exhaust is hot the moisture in the air inside is vaporized. As it cools the water condenses and settles in the exhaust. It will spit out when cold and once it's hot it'll vaporize again and be pushed out.

Stock 350 V8 Rocket. Single Exhaust system (Walker).

I like to think of myself as different, EVERYBODY has dual exhaust. There's nothing like the sound of a Oldsmobile Rocket idling.

I was at a car show last weekend, BEAUTIFUL cars. Camaro's, Mercedes Bwhatever's, but then, this 25 year old kid rolls in with a bamboo cutlass packed with a 350 rocket.

Surprisingly i got all the attention.

Here is my 1969 cutlass pretty stock motor Just have 4BBL Holley carb and elder block performer intake, 2.5 inch dual exhaust(super dyonmax). A new rebuilt TH350(audio taken just after TH350 was installed). I know she doesn't sound like some of the cars on here but I am working on it. I am going to rebuilt motor next maybe in the next year or so.

First audio is from cold start second audio is when I was parking it after a Drive. Let me know if you hear any bad noise.

I don't know if it's because there's no video with it or what but it sounds better than you describe! I love this thread, I wish the Big Block thread had half as many videos

Here you go. I absolutely LOVE the sound of this baby block. It's just awesome. It's got true dual exhaust with the longest glass packs I've ever seen underneath. Nice, smooth low rumble.

And I love the sound of all your awesome cars! Thanks for posting.

Can someone here PLEASE help me!?!? I can't provide the link to my W-31---I tried but my computer skills are "lost in the '70s" like my cars. If you look for
"David Siltman Nostalgia" my '69 W-31 is there on Youtube. I think it will be good for this thread.
Thanks in advance for your help, Dave.

By the way, the video of my '69 W-31 was during a test-n-tune where we rented Capitol Raceway. I had just finished the "new" drivetrain and had a very mild tune and was running through the exhaust system. That day we were just making sure evrything was good and were leaving the line around 4500rpm and "granny" shifting at 5000rpm.
I really gotta hone my computer skills so you guys don't start "pickiing on me!!!"
You all should enjoy the little video----Thanks BIG TIME to whoever will post it.

Dave Siltman's '69 W-31:

This car should be nicknamed the jackrabbit! Oh my! Watch the wheels come off the ground with a little slip of the clutch, insane!

My friend just got a new camera so he wanted to try it out. I like the resolution but the sound noise reduction may take a little to much off, she has a bit more low rumble sound in person.

Millie's stats...

1968 Cutlass S
350 SBO @ ~9.5:1 CR
Holley 650cfm carb on Edelbrock Performer intake
Hooker full length headers
Pypes true dual 2 1/2 inch exhaust
Pyes 18" Race Pro mufflers
350 Turbohydramatic
4.10 posi

Edited out loud wind and passing delivery truck noises.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mC620...ature=youtu.be

I will have a few more to post soon too.

This is a chopped 36 minute criuse, down to 11 and test of my friend's new camera. I cut out the traffic areas so most of the movie id just driving. the camera was taped to dash with painters masking tape. The tape starts to rattle and let's the camera vibrate on the windshield a bit towards the end. It's a simple drive, no real "hot ******* it" or crazy stuff.
