What's up with pic handling ?

Example post...

https://classicoldsmobile.com/forums...tml#post507010

CO users used to be able to click on the little pics in my posts and then get a big pic if they wanted to (speedier page loading with little pics). Now, clicking on the little pic only re-shows the little pic.

What changed ? Something on CO ? P-Bucket ? Me ? Any ideas ?

tnx

The one posted by you does come up small but the three posted by sklbndt earlier in the thread come up large. It may be P-bucket.

I think you're right.

Apparently P***Bucket completely changed (fubar'd) everything a few months ago. I just never noticed....until now.

It has something to do with the 'Link back to album' setting in PB that was retroactively applied to every existing pic on PB. Every direct link to a pic is now re-directed to some PITA PB (Flash?) pic player...

This causes CO's Forum s/w to choke as the embedded PB link is no longer a pic but a link to an html page with the player.

sklbndt's pics work because they were 'uploaded' to CO and not linked externally.

Looks like the only solution may be to edit every previous post with new links...

Am still investigating.....

It is kind of painful now. Hopefully it gets corrected eventually. Tis a beautiful thing when it works properly.
