My car is a daily driver 350 with Edelbrock Performer 1406 on a Edelbrock Performer intake - I currently run a K&N filter on a typical Edelbrock air cleaner setup. Will my original quadrajet air cleaner housing fit on the Edelbrock carb without any issues with clearance, binding linkages etc? I would love to run the original cleaner housing if possible. I have not even tried it to see if it fits yet, but figured someone here would know for sure how that will work out.

I have the original air cleaner running on the 1405 E-brock. Looks great to me! No hang ups, no problems.

works with mine too. the q jet spring hook up is high on the q jet and will hit some drop based open type filters from what I have seen.
