Welcome

Welcome Mr Sutton. About time you shared that magnificent W car with the rest of the world.

Enjoyed meeting you and your brother Al and seeing the cars at the Poppy show this past spring.

Love that color

Thanks for posting. Not sure I've seen that color before but it's perfect.

I see it is a convertible with rear defog. As far as I know that is extremely rare. I have seen one other car that I think might have been a factory install. Is your blower in the driver side of the top well? And does it have the metal grate with one rounded off edge? And could I ask for a picture of it?

Color - code 14 - rear defogger in a 72 convert

It's called "silver pewter poly" the original color to the car. The rear blower was installed by original owner back in the day. It looks factory.....dash switch, plate, wiring harness etc. They installed the plastic defroster part into the convert boot. It looks factory, so I kept it. I have never seen any literature or info in the factory manual showing or describing a rear defogger for a Cutlass convert in 72.
