Unusual Halloween lawn decoration.

I caught this unusual lawn decor leaving family yesterday in Illinois. Spooky isn't it?

The Ford shaker scoop has to go.

(Yes, I am aware that my 69 H/O has a Cobra Jet flapper assembly on the air cleaner...)

This made me think of a Todd Snider song "Staticians Blues", I am digging the cobweb wheels although I'll agree with Joe's remark regarding the Ford inspired hood scoop. I can certainly appreciate the fun factor. I LOVE Halloween, and the neighborhood I live in amps it up for both the kiddos and the big kiddos!

I gotta tell this story....

When I was ~16 yo I worked at a restaurant as cook. One late night I took another guy home who lived way out in the sticks. On my way back to civilization I had to stop at this one lonely stoplight on the two lane in the middle of nowhere. While I was sitting there another car slowly rolled up behind me with blue lights, yellow fog-lights, headlights, etc.. Like 8 lights going at once. As this was about 1979 all I could think of was this....

(from :22-:38)

I was looking at it in the rearview and half expecting it to float up. The light turned green and I rolled. About 1/2 mile later the road widened to 4 lanes and the car pulled out and passed me. It was a old 60's something hot rodded hearse much like the OP. Black, giant Cragars, loud exhaust & small red lights in the rear & side windows. Looked cool as hell.
