I'm having two issues that I want to tackle this weekend.

Car: 70 442

1) The dome light sometimes turns on when I open the driver door and sometimes it doesn't. (Majority of the time it doesn't). BUT it always turns on when the passenger door is open, so it's just an issue with the driver door. What can be causing this? Where do I start?

2) The front passenger side turn signal doesn't blink when I'm giving a signal. The light does turn on at night and the green arrow on the speedo works, it's just that doesn't give a flashing signal up front. Bad bulb and or wiring?

Sounds like the door jamb switch is sticking and you have a bad 1157 bulb or
dirty contacts either on the bulb or socket.

1) is likely the pin switch on the drivers door. It has a spring in it so perhaps that is weak or broken. It can be unscrewed easily enough for inspection.

The switch should look something like this:
