Just thought that I would put this out there for everyone. I did this last year and it is a great way to spend the Saturday during Memorial Day weekend. A nice drive with 3 stops (one for lunch). At the final stop (Charlotte Hall Veteran's Home) there is a car show held for the Vets there.
Had a great cruise yesterday. The weather gods finally showed up and it was sunny and in the mid 80's. We had about 175 cars driving around southern Maryland, and none of them broke down and had to be towed. One of the best parts was on the 3rd leg of the cruise. Who was leading all of those hot rods, corvettes, Camaros, and mustangs... the only 2 Oldsmobiles in the group! There was a '72 442 out front, and right behind him was my family and me in my '71 Cutlass Supreme.
Even better, the cruise raised $20,000 for the Charlotte Hall Veteran's Home.
I am not a Ford guy. But I have to say that the prettiest car at the cruise was this '54 Ford Sunliner. You don't see too many of them anymore, and this one was beautiful.
