I served from 1973 to 1993 in the AF The war was winding down by then. The closest I got was being stationed at Kadena AB in Okinawa in 1974 to 1975. Thanks to all who served in the war and those who lost their lifes in the war RIP brothers.

I am so impressed by that tribute. I opened it and surfed through some of it noting all the bios of the fallen soldiers, their decorations, what unit they were serving with etc.

They even included soldiers who served in the US Forces from other countries such as Canada.

Thank you to whoever took the time to put that compilation together. There are prolly some names missing, but such a huge tribute.

When Nixon made the decision to end hostilities, I was only 16. Even though I never served in the forces, I fully appreciate those who did and still do.

More young people should learn about these tributes as part of their education. Too many of today's freedoms seem to be taken for granted.

I was in the Navy during this time (67-71) but never got to see Nam. I was Naval Weather Service, stationed at Lakehurst NJ for school, NAS Willow Grove PA for duty, then two years at beautiful Fleet Weather Central, Pearl Harbor, HI. That was my sea duty. In Navy four years and never served onboard ship.
