missing something
flipping through the Assembly manual last night and saw fuel sending wiring went through the trunk.
Getting my gauge to work after the body shop was on my to do list. So I got up and took this picture.
When I test light it the gauge starts working.
Now I need to find a connector.
also on another project
some times I find the previous owners repairs.
No wonder the fan didn't work

Yea the light brown "Tan" wire on the drivers side trunk looks like it should run to the fuel gauge sending unit.
However the body shop did leave it visible.
Looks like i need to drop the tank and see if it is coiled up on top of the tank or missing completely.
the body shop lost original tank this is the replacement tank. My thinking other halve of the wire stayed attached to old tank
