Mac this is the first time I didn’t do the metal work I did trade work with a friend lol I hate sand blasting so he sand blasted rad support and I believe he just used scotch pad on the hood
not a bad trade I did a clutch on his car for the work and paid for the paint supply’s cost me 3 hrs and 400 bucks
Very cool, Justin. I think Mine's going to take more than a scotch pad, though, and a wire brush would be a little strong. Does anyone make a true brass wire wheel anymore or are they all brass coated steel?

Mac, I can’t wait to see it love review your build threads!!
Sold the 330 to a guy that is going to put it in a 65 442 project to get it on the road again. Talked with him a bit seems to have a few olds ranging from65-71 including a 68 442
any how, progress has had been made slow and steady.
Well bbo isn’t installed yet! But progress never the less, I have spent several weekends cleaning the garage and organizing parts so I can dig into the project,I need to buy a new brake booster as they sold/sent the wrong one and as I bought it 5 years ago doubt they will send the correct one now.
Man, these front spring scare me !! Chipping away at the front end work, the nice corn well spring compressor sucks! just ordered the oem 27035 from auto zone, a few YouTube video, I watched seemed like a better tool. Also made a nice air cleaner to go with it.
Got the spring out and I highly recommend the oem 27035 tool can rent from autozone or purchase for
around 50 bucks, I purchased it as I thought highly of it
Packing wheel bearings.... that’s a great way to get my 6 year old daughter involved. The ol’ Lady is always worried she can get hurt.... Nice safe starter projects and they will have fun squishing grease in their hands
Finished up the brake lines! All I need to modifi is the brake peddle linkage to fit properly, supplied parts is to short or long easy fix.
the right stuff brake kit was pretty flawless the only thing I would like to mention, is to some one with out proper tool should buy the steering arms instead of drilling larger holes. I could see some one drilling these incorrect at a angle
brake line kit took me looking at it for a while to figure out line routing as it was different from oe ,
I still need to drop rear end and install the olds 12 bolt and get the drive line made if needed, I need to button up wiring and a lot of little stuff.
