Oldsmobile Qjet cores wanted

Looking for complete Qjet cores. 1968-72, doesn't need to be exotic H/O units but would entertain them. Preferably the 455 variety. I have the numbers books so you don't need to dig around and research what you have, as long as you can provide me a number.

Stripped threads, bent linkage, seized, all are OK as long as they unit is complete with all hard parts

Others are considered. Buick or Pontiac preferably. Sadly there isn't a huge call for Chevy units as most of those guys think Holley is the way to go. But I figured since this was Classic "Olds" I wasn't going to request others. LOL

I'm in Calif. maybe to much to ship as they are heavy to ship. I do have some big and small block carbs. Some of the tops and middle bowl and bottoms bye their self. I'll get numbers later on Sat.

Cores fit nice in USPS medium flat rate boxes with the inlet removed. Send pics when you can please.

John.

Unless I'm mistaken, the 7043251 is a 455 AUTO and the 7043253 is the manual carb. for '73.

Rocketman:
I thought even numbered carbs were jetted for automatic cars and odd numbered carbs for manual cars. Thanks for the correction.

That is not always the case. More often than not the last digit indicates, engine application, car model, or exotic carb. 7041250, 1971 350 carb, either trans, 7041251, 455 carb, either trans..

Bump... looking for a couple specific numbers now. 7027157 (1967 442) 7027153 (1967 330)

Will consider other cores. Please email me at eightupman@gmail.com. I fail to come here often enough to check my posts.

what are you paying for them? Like the 67 cores you are requesting. In typical off the shelf condition. Complete but on the shelf for a long time and needing restored.

You can email me direct at lemoldsnut@aol.com

or calls 541-815-4363

Larry

Thanks. The 157 was specifically requested by my customer for his 67 442. Its possible his is a California car and would prefer to keep it that way, I'm not completely sure his reasoning. I have a 157 right now but it is only pretty much good for the number on the float bowl.... too much wrong with it, when a better core can be found (I hope).
