Where did you find yours? Might be looking for one myself?

I bought the wrong one, it's for a high altitude car, so unless I'm going to Vermont a lot it's the wrong part. The box says 17055784, but the EGR is stamped 17056387. As it turns out these both are the wrong numbers. I didn't look at the manual correctly. Bummer

What number are you looking for again? I have a good used one that has a production # of 17061580. According to the parts and illustration catalog the part number is 17065856 and the application is A, B35, C bodies with 350R w/California emissions. See attached pictures:

Thanks, I'm having a tough time reading/understanding the manual, it looks like the right one is 17061580 but I am getting confused between US/CA/High altitude. I found the one that was on that black 79 I parted out a few years ago with the 260 Olds motor and it was 17061577 which kind of makes sense as it's only 3 numbers off from what I guess is the right one. Looks like this is going to be a tough find NOS

I scored on that's 2 numbers off, 17061578, the manual advises its for the Toro but not CA or High Altitude so I guess this will be good enough, I'm not seeing a down side of putting this one on.
