This is the car. It was discussed on the 442 FB page. Nice car if yellow if your bag https://www.oldsmobilecentral.com/fo...TH.php?id=3009

It is a sharp looking car with the 'Sebring Yellow' paint, Oldsmobile should had offered it as a standard color in '77. Unlike some of the other offered colors, the yellow really brings out the design.

I see D83 Special Paint listed in the paperwork. What does the cowl tag look like? Does it have any paint code or does it have "SPECIAL" next to the PNT.
The reason I ask, is my 73 442 has a special order paint code. It's called out on the cowl tag, and mine is shown as described above. I have not seen a 77 with special paint, and I am wondering if it's shown the same way.
Either way, beautiful ride, and I sure would love it parked between mine! It would be a stoplight theme! Good luck with the sale.

Cowl tag shows numbers that have no relation to a traditional paint code. Build sheet shows spec. paint info. With Dupont info. Orig paint was camera'd and came back dead on to Daytona Yellow/ Sebring /etc. This is supported by the build sheet info. As we all know GM called the same color different names depending on division. This car is legit, Rust free super solid car. One repaint. If anyone is looking for a 77 442 this is it. I bet you will not find another this color combo. Yes i was a previous owner of this car

Thanks for the information!!
I've been into 73-77s for 25 years and I have never seen one in this color combo! Very cool!

I cleaned up this thread and edited back your ad to include "customer special order paint car". This is a classified ad not a discussion thread. Members please read the posting guidelines.
To the OP, very nice car and glws.
