New toy. Leave bare or add emblems and wheel well trim?

U code 72 restored in 2014. Picked it up today. Still needs some chrome installed but came with the car. Special mix paint on it but was originally Saturn Gold if I remember correctly. Looks well taken care of and full rear quarters, trunk lid, were replaced . The stripes were painted on ( hood and trunk) and it looks too good to repaint. Actually looks very well done.

Not the sort of thing you need to decide in a day. Also, the emblems can be stuck on with good tape either for a while or permanently (like current auto production does). Wheel well trim...did they weld the holes up?

Interesting seat material; very pimp.

Seats will be replaced with stock buckets and covers. Wheel well trim holes are there.

I contemplated taking a look at that one as the priced dropped recently, but decided I did not really need another 72 vert.

having just purchased a 72 myself I am liking the chrome trim on these cars. You don't see many with the side molding and its not reproduced either. I notice folks use generic stick on side molding and when its done well it looks good. I'd start out with at least the wheel well trim, the car looks great but does look a bit unfinished to me.

I like the three point harnesses wold like to see how the mounted them in back. Does it have the top well or did they remove that to handle the seat belts?

I sold one to get it. A friend bought mine for weekend use and likes the 350. I wanted a 455 so it was a win-win for all.

the top well is in it and the seat belts go over and behind the top of the seat, under the well. Probably mounted to the framework the seat back mounts to.

Any chance you know where they got the 3 point belts from? The kids are young sand I'd love to to put that option in my 71 vert since I plan on using this car for family trips.

The car is beautiful amda adding the trim would only enhance its beauty. Good luck with it.

Love the color. The velour seat covers, not so much. My grandfather had a lime green '72 Delta Royale convertible with green velour seat covers like that. I wish I knew what became of that car. The car has a certain gangsta vibe without the chrome, but I'd put it on.

Seat belts

I think I'm going to remove those seat belts after I get the car inspected and put in stock ones. As soon as the rear seat covers get here the buckets go in bench and belts comes out.

Install the chrome! It is part of what makes old cars pop.
