Headers for 1972 Cutlass Supreme

OK my first crack at this. I have a 72 Cutlass Supreme that had the 350 replaced with a 455. I am looking for a set of headers but according to the tech department at Hooker, they do not make headers for the cutlass supreme because of the engine being positioned more to the left. I am wondering what those of you that have managed to install them used?

I've had Hooker Super Comps with a 455 in a 72 Supreme. The engine position is exactly the same as in any other Cutlass model.

I can't believe this is still out there. I'm not sure how this originally came about but it is not true. The engine positions are exactly the same for all body styles. I wish the header manufactures would purge this bad info from their data bases.

You would think the tech desk people would have caught on by now. You're good to go, fwiw I just used hookers fit good no clearance issues.

This will never go away. It is a mystery why and where it started. Think about it. From the firewall forward, the Cutlass Supreme is the exact same car other than the grills and I am pretty sure that will not matter.

Welcome to the site, you might introduce yourself in the newbie section and post some pictures of your ride. That header tech note just will not go away, your not the first who has been mislead, unfortunately not the last either.
