Hey Guys
I’ll be offering another new Olds specific engine part very soon. This time it’s a new rocker arm made by Harland Sharp but different than their current stud mount Olds specific rockers.
It’ll have their Diamond cut feature and have the ratio and “Olds” etched on each one. (Per photo). They’ll be available from me only for the next year in three ratios, 1.6, 1.65, and 1.7. Price will be $440.00 a set shipped.
Forging ahead!!
(Btw, this is NOT the “epitome of cool” project I eluded to in another post, that’s still to come)😉

What is the advantage of these over the current 5016 and 5017?
Fair question.
Diamond cut makes them lighter without sacrificing strength.
They do it on SBC, BBF and Pontiac’s currently.
Plus I had someone ask me if they could use their HS rockers on the new Edelbrock head. I asked him which ones he had. He didn’t know, no markings. Had to send a pic to HS to make sure.
I discussed using these on #6 iron heads with Mark. He mentioned the rocker pads need milled first, .100", I believe. I used 1.72 ratio Scorpion Ford Windsor rocker arms when using a small 204/214 cam on a 9.6 to 1 350. The push barely cleared the heads, something to watch for with a higher ratio. I went from Comp roller tips to true rollers, most of the gain was probably there, just quieter, no seat of the pants gain. You will gain lift, duration is so little, it won't fix an improper cam choice. These rockers are very nice, I can hardly wait to put them on the Edelbrock heads they are designed for. Remember these are 7/16" studs, your iron heads would also need tapped for them. The HS poly locks vs a basic Comp replacement in one pic.
