I came across an interesting read about the Z heads Wise made, in fact they dam cool imo.
I tried Google and check out his web page, doesn't exist any more or any other link. Just old articles on the web.
Is Brad still in business?

Rumor has it he’s moved from NC here to Florida. No one has seen or heard from him lately. Rumor also has it that he is selling or has sold the rights to that head to another entity. Hope so cuz no one wanted to deal with Brad. However it’ll still be a high dollar piece and not for anything less than a very serious build, ie DX or Rocket Block.

Ah gotcha. They looked like very serious heads.
Was reading up a bit on the RR heads as well. Some serious stuff too but no water jacket. Looked like the ones from Wise has a water jacket
Rocket Racing heads do have water jackets. Not sure where you got that info, but its incorrect
Ah, a head thread😁. Pretty sure Mark has personally dealt with the great Brad Wise. Positive at first and went downhill from there, if I remember correctly. He isn't the only one. What you probably don't know, multiple guys have brought the latest and greatest cylinder heads to Oldsmobile. Bulldog ripped off thousands from people. Terry Fritsch bought the rights off them and ripped thousands of dollars more from people. Like Bulldog, very few heads ever delivered. Brad Wise, did the same thing, delivered a few pairs, other out thousands for nothing. Basically the Billet heads flow the most, and can have water passages I believe, then old Batten heads, need completely checked over before buying, including pressure checking, then Rocket Racing heads, then the Edelbrock and Procomp heads. The Batten and Rocket Racing heads need a special intake. Don't bother with these other heads, Mondello/Knowlton heads are another, supposedly casting issues and their flow numbers are questionable at best. Nothing like a head thread, let's keep it civil, if possible.
You can get Bill's serious Edelbrocks, still. CNC ported, moved pushrods, and his other tricks. I think he put them through the EMC one year. http://www.btrperformance.com/index.html
You are correct Christian. I did have a few dealings with Brad. Then I realized the best thing to do was to lose his number, which I did immediately.
Again there are some other good head choices as well.

Fair enough- I just saw someone post a build with those heads, but may have been around a while. The pickins are definitely slim.
He doesn't. I tried to purchase a set. When I purchased my heads through him a few years ago he said they weren't available anymore due to the reasons Chad stated above.
Not to be negative but I'd bet Peyton will lose interest as his family ages out of racing.....

It's not being negative. It's being real. I've heard it all going all the way back from when Edelbrock came out with their heads. We've gotten those, the Rocket Racing pieces, and broken promises. The Edelbrocks cover 99.9% of the market.
Sorry, what I meant was Peyton or someone might offer a more advanced CNC’d Edelbrock/Procomp like Bill used to for someone who wants to take it to the next level. Otherwise the Edelbrock/Procomp will cover 99% of the market as mentioned. Makes sense to me.
