what kind of high volume fuel pumps do you guys use. i see holley has discontinued theirs. any other brands you gusy woul recommend

the car does get driven alot in summer so electric pumps are out of the question.

 

The Holley style pump is still available through other distributors under a different brand name I believe, but don't think the quality is there.

The Carter M6108 or M6109 are great units, though are not really considered high volume, but should suit your needs.

Top of the line is the RobbMC pumps, but they are not cheap.

In my opinion the best bang for the buck is the Airtex 40736. Its about 30 bucks at Advance Auto. Its a factory replacement for the W-30 cars and Toronado engines. A friend had one on his 66 Cutlass, ran 12.20s so it can provide a decent supply of fuel. Best part is it will fit Edelbrock heads!

 

I used the summit brand chrome pump. Has worked flawlessly for 6 years now.

 

Yeah, the summit one isn't available anymore, and is basically the one that Holley used to sell.

call mondello about this and I have 1 also. there mechanical pumps can support big power plus nitrous and I paid about 130 for it and it has lasted.

 

I have a brand new never used RobbMc set up for a return line, ill give you a good deal if your interested. It will support up to 550 hp,I'm going with an electric fuel pump for my new build.

 

I run a RobbMc 1100HP pump.

 

Airtex 40736 as mentioned - Cheap, capable and not much of a gamble. Robbmc is real nice, much more expensive & may not fit on small block (noted in your sig line) without modding cylinder head. I run a Robbmc 1100 as well but I had head (Edelbrock) clearance dealt with when engine was being built. You might be able to shoehorn one on w/ OE head but not sure.

 

I ran mid-12's with a 455 using the Airtex 40736. No issues with fuel supply, still pulled like a freight train through the timing trap at 5500 rpm. I doubt your 350 will ever need more fuel than that pump will supply.

 

I have one of the Carter high volume fuel pumps on my 455. It works great.
