Is there a supercharger for the 350 V8?

"this spins, this spins, they are exactly the same"
while looking at a real turbo fan and a stamped POS electric fan.
oh-strie-leean Red Greens add TWIN leaf blowers to the 32 HP daihatsu after the epay electric stuporcharger gained about -10% power. Technically, negative gains are as advertised- because "up to" 50 HP gain guarantees only that your gains will not EXCEED that level, and if they did, who would complain?

I've never heard of Superchargersusa, however I have seen Olds supercharger setups from BDS, which is a company who's been doing this for decades. Except for the long-out-of-production Sharp blower intake manifolds, no one makes a blower manifold for an Olds motor. Most that I've seen are fabricated from an Offy single plane dual quad intake, with the carb flanges milled flat and a thick aluminum mounting plate bolted or welded in place. I would steer clear of a fabricated manifold that starts with a single 4bbl intake.

I don't see any problems using a manifold fab'd from a single or dual four intake as long as the part is well made and the seller (if a new part) stands behind their product.
Making stuff work for an obsolete or odd ball engine is what hot rodding is all about. Early Caddy's can use Studebaker adjustable rocker arms... there are hundreds of these modifications around that allow one family of engines to use another's parts... just putting a GMC 6-71 blower on any engine is another example.

There's no problem with the fabricated intake and frankly that's the only way to mount a GMC-style blower on an Olds motor. My point of avoiding the single 4bbl version was simply due to the restriction that the small hole imposes. Kinda makes no sense to install a supercharger then squeeze it all through a single 4bbl opening.

the epay ads for the electric unit don't caution about that. I wonder why?
So, "up to" how much power does the BDS or similar blower add?
They could advertise them as good for "up to" 1500 extra HP, right?

Huh.

You would think their Attorneys would have suggested some sort of disclaimer. Just wait until the leaf blower guys find out about the new application for their products.

I think the rule of thumb is 34% for 5#'s of boost.
