Performance parts suggestions

So now I’m working on being able to offer a FORGED 4.00” stroke gas block crank with all the same features as the original billets but for a more competitive sale price of around $1200.00. Any interest? I believe this revision makes more sense than the original billets. I’ll still offer the billets for the D/DX blocks as those blocks make better use the stronger crank. However gas blocks are less durable, so a more appropriated strength crank makes more sense in my opinion
Let me know your thoughts and level of interest if you would please.
Thanks.

Try to make a plan before you start buying parts, it will save money in the long term.
Cutlassefi on here is a great person to provide a cam that will suit your realistic needs. I have purchased multiple items from him and am 100% satisfied.

Most of all enjoy the journey... Cheers

X3 on Mark. You need smaller dish pistons obviously. Better pistons and rods is a good idea but not cheap all by itself. You will also need a good machine shop familiar with Olds V8's. The BBO needs high quality machine work with proper clearances or expect a failed engine.

Are you looking to replace the entire rotating assembly?

Edelbrock should offer a roller cam package with the heads, intake and gaskets now that they are in the same group as Comp Cams. Cost can snow ball in a hurry but new pistons and machine work are necessary with the 77cc heads with a 224/234 cam with 8 to 1 compression. Also realize a higher stall torque converter will be needed.
