Just curious about oil pump for 455 olds block engine.

I know with BBc what we use, just wondering with say a a 600Hp engine, is a standard Mellings ok or do you guys turn to a High Volume Mellings?

Thanks John

You might need the HV pump if your clearances are on the loose side. Personally I always default to the HV. Only downside to me is you lose a smidge of power compared to the standard pump. But you get the bolt-on pickup
