Hi guys, from Paul in the U.K. Some of you may recall that i was going to fit some Moroso trick springs to my 72 Cutlass. I was agonising on the right choice for the front end and decided on pn 47160 as these are actually small block springs to take into account the weight loss from ally heads and intake on the 455 and glass hood and front bumper. Well turns out it was a good choice the car sits just about right with the front wheel arch about level with the top of the tyre. It rides well on the street too only getting a bit bouncy on rough roads, but most important was how it was going to run on the strip. So off we went last weekend to the Mopareuronationals and man we were getting air under both front wheels. The car used to lean over on launch and pick up the drivers side wheel, but now it launches straight and really picks up the front end. I did not set any pb's last weekend as it was very hot but the Old's ran 11.92 on the motor and 10.92 on a 210hp shot of Nitrous with a 1.52 60ft.Here is a pic of it just leaving the line and the dude with the shades on beside the car is my son Jason.Jason and the Olds Mopars 2012.jpg

Awesome Paul!!! I still haven't done mine yet lol! I've been putting out fires and working on the other car lately. I am planning on using the QA1 coil over kit, but I've got to get wheels and tires first so I can weigh the car properly. Best of luck! I'm glad you got it done!

Sounds like fun, as knew a couple guys doing that. One guy had a Vista wagon with the weakest rear springs he could find, with a strongly built 455 in it. He used to cruise the streets on drag slicks, pulling the front wheels up at every light, and dusting just about everyone around. Far as I know, this was just for fun, but he had some pictures of it in action, and looked pretty cool.
