I'd take either one. Sounds like a good price on both if they are nice condition.

the edelbrocks would be brand new from work and with 30% off they might be cheaper the 40

the only thing is the moroso's are taller and i heard thats better for something

Better for hitting your power brake booster when you drop the motor in

I think the Moroso valve covers would be cooler.

I've always used whatever came with the engine, and bought beer with the money I saved.

Taller valve covers are used if you have a larger ratio rocker arm.

Taller ones are used when you are running studs, and polylocks with an adjustable valvetrain that will not clear a stock valvecover baffles. The rockers usually do not have problems.

Sorry about that, that does make more sense. Ive never personally had a need for taller valve covers, just from what I have heard from other people. Im sure you know how that usually works.

Warhead,

From ROP? If so, you will be an asset to the site.

Either way, welcome.

Why not use aluminum covers? stock height, much better clamping force, looks so much better, won't rust after a year like the chrome ones do-been there already. Can be had for 75 to 200 bucks depending on condition. Clean up some grungy ones ,paint them and you're all set.
