How well do Headman Headers fit G Bodys?

I was looking at Summit Catalog they have headers from Flowtech & Headman for G Body Cutlass. I was thinking of getting Headmans with Black Maxx coating. Do they fit good, or do you have to beat them to death and mod stuff?

Last I heard, they fit fine, a better choice than the Flowtech headers, thin flanges and rust quickly.

Make sure you do your research before buying headers. If you need a BFH to get them to fit you MAW get a cheap set.

The ceramic coated are the best for rust prevention. Stainless is even better. If you need to "adjust" them, the stainless are the way to go. Headman usually have more space over the plugs than other brands

Stainless is tough to beat. The Chinese Stainless A body Ebay headers actually fit one guys G body better than my 70 Cutlass. I got many years out of Ceramic headers, that weren't Flowtech. The Flowtech had rust pin holes then peeled within a year. Unfortunately header fitment can be hit or miss due to body and motor mount differences, car to car.

Beating a header to fit doesn't effect the Horse Power of the engine anyway! That's is a myth.😂

About 20 years ago I put a set of their ceramic headers on a 403 in my 80 and they went in hammer free. The ceramic coating only lasted a few summers and began flaking though. They now look like $#!T
