If they did, why would header manufacturers sell different headers for each?

Headers

Sorry Joe, I reread what I posted, I guess I should have told the whole story,my son wants to put a 1972 Olds engine in a 1980 Malibu, he wants to put headers on it and we have a set of headers for a A-Body. Was wondering if I could use these headers, do you know if a 1980 cutlass came with a V-8? I know it's a G body but I'm not sure if I can get a set of headers to work.

All 1978-1988 Cutlii (and all 1978-1988 A/G body cars from all divisions) use the same chassis - at least from the firewall forward. A small block Olds V8 was offered in every one of those years. Again, if the A-body headers did fit the 78-88 cars, there would be no need for header manufacturers to sell different ones for the newer cars. Get the correct headers.

Joe, being all of the G-bodys were the same, were all of the exhaust ports the same from Chevy to Olds? Or do I need to order cutlass headers to match the Olds exhaust ports?

You need headers for a 350 Olds in a G body. 350 Olds heads/ ports has nothing in common with a 350 Chevy.
