[QUOTE=drjr56;945799]How much carb,cam,intake,and compression,would it take to break into the 11's.Car weight with driver 3900lbs,400 turbo,2200 stall 373 posi.Motor is 455 .060 over,10,3 compression.And Edelbrock heads 5 angle posi flow.

Are you using slicks? Race dumps or threw the exhaust?Are you using light weight wheels? Your shocks should be adjustable to give you weight tranfer off of the front to the backwheels.I have 90/ 10 on the front. Your carb is a starting point. I use a 850 cfm. You need to verify that your carb is adjusted for at the hit with proper jets.Also not all air cleaners are equall. Use a race air filter. I use a torker but a performer may get you there. My cam is 569 lift hydraulic. my stall is converter is 3600 but went low 11's with a 2800 my car with me in it was 3440. My rear gear is a 373.Rest of your engine as posted is similar to mine.These are just things to think about. I think you are there already.JMO

Thanks wr1970...think I may have seen your specs here or on ROP.I realize traction,carb adjustment,and the right exhaust play a major role.Was just wondering if the mentioned component are enough.I thought I was close.Tune and traction,and stall speed,we should see low 12's,if mph is near 110....thanks again.

Low twelves for sure and with proper tuning of suspension and other things that were in my other post. It is possible for a high 11. Please respond back when you make some runs and pictures of car.
