BBO Stroker Billet cranks

Looking to gauge interest on 4.500” BBO 4340 billet cranks. These would essentially be the same as the ones previously made by Scat.
BBC rod journals, fully counterweighted, internally balanced for a 2200gr bobweight. Cost would be about $2000.00 just like the Scats. I need orders for a total of 10 to move forward. Let me know.
P.S. Before anyone asks, the small block forged Stroker crank project is not dead. In fact I should have a drawing in my email in the next couple of days. I’ll keep you posted on that as well.

Thank you. I have no clue what his problem is with me but whatever. Thanks again.

Would this be built as a fully counter-weighted crank, by chance?

I would really like to see that option brought to market in a 4.25 and 4.5 stroke to cover the range of different uses.

The idea of spending $4k on a Moldex or a Bryant crank makes that unobtanium for most of us mere mortals.

All the previous Scat cranks were fully counterweighted. These would be too as previously mentioned.
However there has been very little call for ANY of the stock stroke stuff. I’d only be doing the 4.500” stroke at this point.
Thanks.

Not trying to be horsey here, but I have owned a scat billet olds crank.

It had six counterweights, not 8, and was not fully counterweighted for the center two pins.

What stroke? All of the second batch got 8 counterweights. I know, I have two here.

Note; Bernard Mondello just announced he’ll have some Stroker ones in the next 4-6 weeks so this is now a moot point. I only looked into this because I had a couple of people interested, but had to order more than that to get them done.

Thanks.

It was one of the 4.25 stroke versions that I had.

Thanks for the clarification that the newer ones have 8 counterweights.

What do you think the cost of these cranks would be to neutral balance it?

They’d already be neutral/internally balanced for a 2200gr bobweight.
I think this next batch from Scat will be same.
Again a moot point now.

I think I read he will have 9 of them, and it will be like 2150.00 usa funds for these
