So go to craigs list Madison Wisconsin. Go to for sale, type Olds in the search bar and look for the ad. Like I said in the post this is not mine but thought someone may like it. I could not copy the dog gone link geez. Good luck hope you can use it.

Willis Dennis had AT LEAST 50 57-58 3X2 manifolds, several of which I provided. He was buying any and all at $50 each. Some complete assemblies too. Were did they end up? Still turning up for sale all the time here in Ohio.

I have an intake manifold, but I want buy a complete setup to get everything.

They sure look cool but are a pain to keep working well. Many a hot rodder went to straight progressive linkage to overcome the vacuum operation of the stock setup. They got lousy gas mileage but great performance for there troubles.... Tedd

I make many J2 reproduction parts like fuel & vacuum lines, linkage, and have some spare parts and complete set-ups. I am located in Ohio and Willis Dennis has a link to my email on his DROLDMOBILE site, Eric 440-665-5083

I have never driven a 57 or a 57 J-2. I think I'll most likely go to progressive linkage. I DID manage to get the setup that Otto72 posted about.....Thank you. I am kinda excited to have a complete J-2 setup in hand.

Charlie, I was not sure what I should paint it. Since it won't be a Con Cours restoration, I think I want to paint it like the 4 door 98 my Dad had. It was Cutlass Bronze Metallic (paint code 64) with an Allegheney Green (paint code 31) dividing trim stripe.
This car is definitely a rotisserie restoration. The floorboards are shot, I am hoping the frame is good. I located an "old timer" who knows how to rebuild the transmission.
