Could any one with a parts book covering 1957 cars tell me if the power window motors/mechinisms for a 2DR HT are the same for 88's and 98's. I would also like to verify that a 4DR HT front mechinism is same??? or different??? than a 2 DR HT mechinism. Also are 57 and 58 the same or different?

I am asking for a lot of information but would really appreciate any and all information.

acording to my trusty hollander, all 57-58 power 2door hardtop are the same for 88,s88 and 98 also 57 58 buick 2 door is also the same. all 4 door hardtops are different. ...................john

That is what I suspected but just wanted to confirm with an Olds person. I am working on a 57 Buick and was aware of the Buick/Olds interchangeability but was not sure about the similarities of the 88's and 98's.

Don't happen to know of any available for a 2 DR HT? I have a set for a 4 DR HT.

i think fusick may have them, but im not sure if they only carry the motor or the whole assy. give them a try.................john
