My Torker runs strong. Ive read many posts online saying they feel the Torker is the best for BBO. Some hi-per shops (online posts) feel the Torker is worth 20hp over the Performer on big Olds. Judging by the number of guys who machine down the center divider of their Performer, it seems to track in my opinion.

Yeah I think I'm gonna put the torker on it I have it already to bad the victor intake is so tall it looks cool but not for my combo

I thought the Holley Street Dominator was the hot ticket for Olds. Am I wrong? Something about the ends of the runners where they meet the cylinder head needs lots of work on the Torker, but is better out-of-the-box on the SD.

HSD vs Torker

I can only attest to my experience and posts I read online (below). I certainly defer to Mark Remmel as he builds Olds motors. I do alot of reading online and for BBO, the Torker seems to be on alot of very fast Olds. I had a HSD on a 350 Rocket years ago and while I liked it enough, it lacked low end torque terribly. I think its definitely more of a high rpm intake, whereas the low rise single plane Torker with only moderately sized runners is a pretty tame single plane that makes great torque too. My Torker runs strong. But everyone's experience is different.
