330ci bored .30 over

In preserving my 330ci engine, I would like to get a little more power by boring it .30 over, but I hear getting pistons can be qutie expensive or impossible. Can someone assist me in understanding this topic more in detail?

Can i bore the 330ci .30 over?
What size pistons will I need?
Which brand yeilds the best results in the piston catagory?
Approximatley how much more HP can I get by boring .30 over?

The 330 can go .030 no problem and beyond. EGGE Machine has pistons at a reasonable cost. Not much HP gain at all going from a stock 330 to an .030 overbore.

I have been told you can bore the 330 to fit std 350 pistons.

You can go up to .060 safely, others may pipe in and say what pistons they used.

iirc, you may need slipper-skirt pistons when you bore a 330 out to 4.057" (std. 350 bore).

Huh?

If I were you I'd bore it to 4.00, offset grind the crank to 3.500 and use 350 Chevy pistons with SBC Rods. Lighter, stronger and a whole bunch of options. Rods and pistons are reasonably priced as well.
