70 442 alternator , non air, with external regulator

I am looking for a 1970 442 alternator, non air, with external regulator

All 70 442s came with the internal regulator. If you want an external you will have to obtain one from a Cutlass or other GM product.

I do not believe that is correct.
The W-30 came with the external regulator in 1970

RocketBrian's response was accurate. A '70 W30 would have ORIGINALLY come with an internally regulated, open face alternator.

does anyone know where I can get an alternator for the 70 442 W-30 non air?
