Looking for a 455 for under 700 bucks, would like to be local as possible. Short block would be fine as long as bottom end is there. Would prefer a motor that atleast turns if it isnt running. Thanks!

 

i have a 72 455 out of a u code car it starts but blows the o ring off the oil filter immediately i dont know the problem located southside of chicago chris 7734180330

 

I have a low mileage 455 from a 72' Toronado I need to sell. It has less than 25K on it and the bottom end has never been apart. It is VERY clean and has been maintained properly. Bolt on your heads, intake and carb and its ready to go. I have the original J heads that belong to the engine and the valve train. PM me for more details. I've got a '70 455 long block, was a high comp 2-bbl, E heads, was a runner but sat around, got disassembled and could use a refresh. Very little ridge and the pistons are pretty decent. Could maybe get away with a flex hone, quickie valve job, etc. $500. Also have lots of 455 blocks, cranks, rods and heads. Could maybe piece together some core stuff to build a full engine for slightly less money depending on condition of the pieces. I'm on the south side of Milwaukee. John 414-761-3552.
