looking for used 455 long or short block Chicago area

Looking for 455 short or long block near Chicago. It is for a friend who has a cracked block. Rather than replace the block he would rather start with a finshed used long or short block.

I have a 455 block from a 1970 toronado motor that i bought unassembled. I believe it is a virgin block. I live about 3 hours from you if your interested.

I have a complete 71 455,that I could separate,and I have another 71 455 that I already removed the top half.

Thanks but I wanted to stay within 200 miles of Chicago if possible.

I have a 1970 Vista Cruiser 455 long block that is a core for a rebuild for $250 . I am located on the Illinois Wisconsin border just south of Lake Geneva in Hebron Illinois .BOB .
