71' Cutlass lower A/C vent needed

Hello,

I purchased and plan on installing a factory 8 track player in my cutlass. The existing lower A/C outlet is a one piece. For the optional factory installed 8 track player, the lower outlet in in two separate pieces. L.H.lower outlet and R.H. lower outlet. Does anyone have these parts and would want to get rid of them? I appreciate any help I can get.

I'm not positive but quite sure I saw somewhere that the lower outlet was cut to install the 8 track player. Seems like it was in the assembly manual?

You can also cut the existing lower AC Valence to fit. Here's picture that shows the template on how to cut your existing AC valence

Worst case scenario you might need to get another lower valence to cut. John McNeel (2blu442) in Medford Oregon has a whack of em if the cut goes wrong on this one...Good luck!

I prefer to cut plastic with my Dewalt miter saw. Just ensure you use a fine blade so you don't spliter the plastic.

I have a set of original part numbered A/C vents for an 8 track car but as others have said If you have a long one just cut it. If you just have to have a set with the part numbers on them I sell them for $150 a set shipped. This is why most people cut the long ones.
