I need the drivers side A-pillar outer skin from a 1980-1990 b/c body car. I don't need the entire pillar, just the outer layer which wraps around and holds the window channel. Mine is rotten and I'd save a ton of money if I can graft in a new piece instead of having one made from scratch.

I know it'll be a hard find but you never know if you don't ask. I figure someone must have a Custom Cruiser or Delta 88 that they're planning on junking for whatever reason.

I know of a couple in junkyards near by, but they don't like the idea of cutting out the pillar since the windshield needs to be removed and there's a risk of breaking it.

Any help or leads to someone who could help would be appreciated.

 

Where are you located ? And maybe a picture of where it would need to be cut to get you the correct amount of repair area

 

I'm up in Massachusetts.

When you pull the inner trim you can see where the metal wraps around the pillar and is welded down. I'm looking to drill out the spot welds from top to bottom and get the entire thing if possible. In reality I need to get it from just below the halfway point all the way up to the roof and possibly about 6" of the roof panel itself, but that's not necesary.
