Fuel tank oldsmobile dynamic super holiday 1963

Hi everybody,

I'm looking for a fuel tank but I don't find it. I have 2 parts numbers : 587398 and 385293? Is the 1958 part the same as the 1963 part?
Last question ; where I could buy this?

Thank very much

Vero

The # 385293 is the correct number.
The # 587398 fits a station wagon.

The tanks fit all full-size Olds from '61 thru '64 if the proper vents are used.

No one is re-producing these tanks.
Your best bet is to try to find a good used one if yours can't be salvaged.
We are presently working on Fusick Automotive, to see if they will re-produce them.
Contact them, and tell them that if they made this tank you would buy one.

My hunch is it ain’t happening. I talked with Jason at Fusick. The Toro tanks ended up being more costly than anticipated. I believe they are priced around $650 and shipping is pushing $150 or so now. Like anything, guys say they will pay it but when push comes to shove, back out.

We need to keep pushing. I'd be good for two. One of my Starfires has been sealed before and no telling what shape the other's in.

If the Toronado tank also fits 66-70 Riviera and 67-70 Eldorado (I'd think it should, they're all same basic E-body), that's an untapped market. Lot of those folks need tanks too.
