Thumbs up 1970 455 main seal

Looking for the Ford 460 main seal to replace the stock rope seal. Any help on a source or forum member who has one to sell would be helpful. Thanks

You can just go to RockAuto and search any Ford pickup with a 429 or 460.

Note that Fel-Pro BS40654 is the Viton version, BS40032 is the plain rubber version. The Fel-Pro Viton seal is still only about half the price of the one from BOP Engineering. The Victor Reinz version is even less. Wanna bet they just repackage one of those into their box?

I've not been the one promoting that item, since it is still split to fit over the crank flange. It seems like the answer to the question no one asked. I've been using the FelPro seals for decades with no issues.
