I know that on a 455 olds engine ,I use a 460 ford 2 piece neoprene rear main seal instead of the rope style seal

I’m rebuilding a 1970 olds rallye 350 engine , In the fel-pro full gasket set the rope type seal is used
Is there any replacement neoprene rear main seal for the olds 350 ?

 

Yes, the Ford 292 seal and the AMC 6 cyl seal works with the ears cut off. I have used both, the AMC seal is a tighter fit.

I’m ordering BS6141 this morning ,

the original 350 goes in a pristine 70 Rallye 350 ....

I ported the code 6 heads, new mahle light forged pistons ( what an upgrade ) , engine blue printed
comp 224/230 cam for good street manners ,
the engine was really tired.....

it will be a charmmto drive ,
