what I need Looks like this photo I found on the forum. Also need the “u” shaped clip that attaches the bezel to the remote cable.

Which mirror do you have? I believe I have one for the non-sport mirror.

I have the sport mirrors but I think the escutcheon/ bezel on the inside of the door Panel was the same. I may be wrong though.

The 1970 sport mirror bezel is different than the non sport mirror bezel, the faces look the same, but the backs are made different, FYI.

thanks Nick. Did not know that. I found a pic on the forum that shows the front and back of what I think is the correct bezel. Still looking for one.

I’m shocked, finally a part Nick doesn’t have! I know the 71-72 style looks different but will they fit and function? If that would work and be acceptable I believe I have one available. For reference I believe this is the bezel for the 70 non sport mirror.

i do not think the 71/72 would work. The 70 looks to have that castle head. Could it be modified to work? Probably. I’ve adapted many a thing and probably could this to. I’ll keep looking though. I’m with you. Can’t believe Nick didn’t have this. He has two of everything else....
