Hi Benny, welcome to the site! Where are you located? I've got the rear glass but that would be a challenge to ship. John

The disk brakes will require the installation of a firewall mounted master cylinder. There are kits available but I am not sure who makes them. I am sure somebody will speak up. The floorpans should be the same for 54 and a Buick might possibly work.

The back glass is now reproduced. You will have a difficult time finding a really nice used one. And it’s a lot of effort to remove and install........

I agree with you about the effort! I was surprised how the trim and gasket fit and it was a royal pain removing both front and rear glass. Mine is in good condition, but if new isn't too expensive I'd think that might be a better way to go. Then the glass shop is responsible for safe shipping!

Post and hardtop are different. Look at Buick as well, glass will interchange.

Disk brake Mike makes a conversion for your car and it works well. The advantage he offers is that you can order his kit or use used parts off a doner car that he lists and save the difference in cost/ shipping. http://www.discbrakemike.com

As noted above you will have to change out your master cylinder and vacuum tank. because the old system won't support the newer brakes. This is true with any brake conversion you find..... Tedd

1954-1956 two door hardtop back glass are all the same. Same with the sedans/fitting sedans of these years. Thank you.

I suspect that the 2 Dr parts in the above Craigslist add will NOT fit a 2 Dr Ht. 2 Dr Ht is likely to be unique. I know for sure that is the case for all 57 Olds and Buick’s.

It doesn’t, however it does say 2Dr. In my era that meant a 2 Dr Sedan. The OP says he is looking for a 2 Dr Ht glass. Just pointing out that further investigating is required.
