They are pretty much the same as 70 -72 I think. Can't remember which side of the engine the heat riser tube is on the 73. Its on the pass side for 70-72. BTW, the Air Cleaner (4bbl) you want is the same for the 455 and 350

The price of air cleaners has been relatively high the last while. (avg around 100+ for driver quality). Saw one recently on ebay that sold for around 65.00 - that was a shocker. Should have bought it and kept it for a swap meet.

Hope you find your part. I have 2 special cleaners (stock 442 dual snorkel) and an OEM OAI base that will only be sold when I can't drive anymore

Thanks Alan !
I think you are correct the 350 and 455 are the same units. The heat tube is on the driver side on a 73.

Before I ran mine over (twice, dont ask) I seen several for sale as you stated.

I had 2 junk air cleaners and made a dual snorkel correct for a 73. Turned out well, I think...

Yes, it does look nice. Good job on the cutting and welding. I bought this one off the web. It looks a little different because the heat riser is on the opposite side of the car. Also, I have 2 breather element holes in mine for the PCV set ups.

Yea thats what the one H/O I own came with. For 70 -72 only I think , exact opposite of the 73 only air cleaner for the V code cars. Those I have seen for 150 to 300 like yours. I need the plain jane 4bbl one now...lol
Thanks!
